Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Valyu Reports for Slack ("the App"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, if applicable, the Slack workspace or organization you represent.
Authority
- You must have authority to install the App and connect it to a Slack workspace.
- You are responsible for who can access Slack channels, direct messages, reports, and files delivered by the App.
- You are responsible for the Valyu API key and Slack workspace settings used with the App.
Acceptable Use
- Use the App only for lawful business or organizational purposes.
- Do not use the App for surveillance, harassment, spam, security abuse, infringement, or activity that violates Slack's policies.
- Do not submit passwords, payment card numbers, government identifiers, health data, or similarly sensitive personal data unless Valyu has agreed to that use in writing.
- Do not attempt to bypass access controls, rate limits, or workspace permissions.
Prompts, Reports, and Outputs
You are responsible for report prompts, destinations, schedules, and how reports are used. Reports may be incomplete, stale, or inaccurate, and they are not legal, financial, medical, tax, or other professional advice. You should review outputs before relying on them.
Third-Party Services
The App depends on Slack, Valyu, and service providers that support hosting, storage, delivery, and operations. Your use of Slack and Valyu remains subject to their applicable terms, policies, availability, and workspace settings.
Data and Privacy
You control what is submitted through your Slack workspace and who can access delivered reports in Slack. Our Privacy Policy explains what the App processes, how it is used, retention periods, deletion controls, and support contact details.
Service Availability
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free operation, including third-party service availability.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Valyu is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption arising from the App. Valyu's total liability for the App is limited to the amount you paid specifically for the App in the 12 months before the claim, or GBP 100 if no separate App fee was paid.
Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from Slack. We may suspend or terminate access if the App is misused, creates security risk, or violates these Terms. Deletion rights and retention periods are described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms.
